German speaking participants for survey badly needed!

Hi,

I am urgently looking for some participants for my survey about SL and as I was told that many of the german speaking SL residents use this forum, I use this platform to contact you. (I already used the german forum.) Because of the socio-cultural background, the survey is dedicated to german speaking SL residents.

Some words about the background:

I am working since 2006 as research assistant at the Trier University (Germany; http://www.uni-trier.de/index.php?id=6771). I have been looking a long time for a subject area of a PhD project which is interesting enough for me to be enganged for several years. At this time (end of 2006) SL became more and more present in the press and attracted my attention.

The memorandums about SL were so exciting that I created my own account to get an impression of the virtual world. Thereby I was convinced that virtual identity respectively identity in the postmodernism will be my thesis.

Besides the theoretical discourse I want to collect empiric results. For this purpose I developed an online survey for german speaking SL residents.

What is it all about using SL? Which role have the avatars for living in SL and for the communication with other residents? Which impact has SL for its residents? These are some sample questions which take the center stage of my empiric work.

To get meaningful result I need a suitable amount of participants (about 300-500 people). To achieve this I need your support! So please open the following link and take the time to answer my questions.

Your participation is really helpful for me and I will raffle three Amazon vouchers (20 EUR each) off. If you know some peers who may be interested in this survey, please notify them.

Best regards

*coughs* If the participants are so "badly needed", putting up three Amazon vouchers for 500 people is pretty cheap. I'd advise to invest the same money to buy Lindens and offer each participant a good amount of them. You might get a lot more results that way.

I completed the survey and well honestly I don't want any money... I know it is hard to find enough people for that... so I am glad I could help....

It would be interesting to check, what would bring in more participants: 40 Lindens for each or the chance to get one of the three 20-Euro-Amazon-vouchers. I don´t know. But it´s also an imaginary request for me. I don´t want to pay the people for participation.

@ Horny: Thanks for your support!
