Ground Texture Question

Hello, I am an estate manager. At the estate resident's request, our sim owner just lowered our sim to be better compatible with the surrounding Linden water and to be able to slope to nice beachfronts, rather than steep cliffs. It looks great. Now comes the cleanup and lowering of various buildings and things on the land but that's not the problem.

My question is, how do I tweak my ground textures, in the World/Region/Estate/Ground texture tab, so that the sand at the bottom will be lower, and still show green on the top? I am using an applied grass texture for the 2nd ground texture but too much sand is coming through and I am not sure which way to go to take the sand texture (bottom one) to a lower level so more grass will show through on top.

This sounds confusing even to me and I wrote it. Hope somebody here gets it and can help. Thanks.

You would have to set the "low" value for all corners to just below where you want the sand to stop, and the "high" value for all corners to higher than any land.

To be blunt - the blending between estate textures sucks. You can adjust, but the range between where one texture starts and the other stops is so wide that in order to get clean sand beaches you have to put with sand showing up in your grassy areas -- unless you're willing to really elevate those areas beyond normal.
