Recently a bunch of land next door to mine had sold to a "real estate agent" type who had done it up as rental properties. So far so good, but then she started decorating them liberally with fullbright texture-rotating ad boards. Yuk. And for especial yuk points, one of 'em was sitting on our mutual boundary and facing directly toward me. A brief hunt around showed that this person was so keen on ad boards that they'd placed some seven or eight of them across two plots near me. So I abuse-reported 'em, like any right-thinking resident would.
 Anyway, I sent off two ARs, one for each plot, and then started fiddling around with an artfully-placed tree to obscure the ad board facing my land... and not three minutes after I'd sent the second AR, that obnoxious board went POOF! All gone!Now that's service for ya. Cheers to LL for responding so quickly to my ARs! If only all requests to them for assistance were handled with such alacrity... _____________________

Ditto that.
I saw a 5 minute response to an AR report for multiple ad boards on the mainland last Friday. A Linden actually turned up removed the Ads then came over for a chat!!! Just watercooler stuff. Felt like I was back in 2004! _____________________

Great! Perhaps more attention will be paid to mainland from LL now that people that are giving up their OS and possibly looking there to relocate.

Awhile back, right after I heard about the new rule that For Sale signs have to be a certain size/height and can't be floating, rotating in the sky, etc.
I AR'd several parcels of mainland next to mine for this (the signs had only just gone up the same day I read about the rule) and they were gone almost instantaneously! This is a good sign...no pun intended _____________________
