If I want another resident not in same group with me to be able to build on my land(supposing I have a land), all other residents only can visit my land, can't build, but can buy products, how to configure my land in this case ?Thanks.

That other resident would have to be in the group owning the land. Or you could set object return for a specific time and he could build there until his objects got returned. But you can't have a non-group member be able to build and everyone else not without restricting access to only your friend.

My advice is to create the group and have them join. You get a 10% land bonus for group owned land as well.

The land will have to be deeded to a group, and your friend will have to join the group and be assigned the appropriate roles and permissions for what you want to allow them to do, beyond what anyone can do.

One more thing: you should also create an alt and have them in the group as well. LL will automatically disband any group with only one member, so if your friend were to leave the group, you might lose access to your land.

One quirk if you only want certain group members to be able build and not others: if "Group" is checked with "Create Objects" then that will override any "Can build" or "Can not build" permissions from group roles.

If you want the group permissions to decide who can build and who can't, then both "Everyone" and "Group" should be unchecked for "Create Object" (although "Group" should remain checked for "Object Entry";).
