Lindons>Dollars>RL Bank Account

Just out of curiosity, how does one transfer dollars into a real life bank after you buy dollars with your earned lindons on the SLX?

To transfer to your bank account you will need a paypal account set up. You then need to activate the PP account so you can withdraw money from paypal into your account.

If you are in the US I believe you can still also order a 'check' ... but there are charges which, for small amounts, probably isn't worth it.

I have a verified PayPal account, but it isn't associated with SL. I use a CC in SL. Do I have to associate the Pay Pal account? If so, how do I do that? Also, my Pay Pal account is the free version; do I need a more advanced version to receive money in it? And how do I pay Pay Pal from my SL account?

havent done this in a while so it may have changed, but:
first off you MUST transfer a couple of $ from your bank account into your PP account. you MUST have a USD$ amount on your PP account.
on the LL website theres a link to create a PP billing agreement. it takes you to pp and you enter some obvious info.
i am pretty sure your pp acount has to be verified. pp will ding your bank account for a number of pennies and send you a statement in the post, then you enter some info into your pp profile.
its not hard, but ll dont bother warning ppl that you need to have some $ in your pp account (not just pp access to your bank account).
to pay usd from ll to pp you sell your lindens on lindex then 'process credit' then wait a few days for it to show up in pp.

You don't have to do anything special to associate your PayPal account with LL in order to "process credit" to it. When you select "process credit" to PayPal a window will appear where you type in the PayPal account email address, twice, it can be yours or someone elses if you want to send someone money. You can change it each time you "process credit" to PayPal.

It only costs $1 regardless of how much money you are processing.
