I dont know how many of you use Apez vendors in SL..but I have used them for quite awhile. Now, I just mainly use them for affiliate vendors.

The problem is, I have over 32,000 Lindens..just STUCK in my apez bank account..Ive filed tickets with them..months ago..still nothing resolved..look, it cant be an error..the money was paid to me by customers..so why is it just stuck in the apez bank? Sounds fishy to me.

So, Im wondering, how many of you have had problems that have went unresolved from this...Im sure I cant be the only one..and wondering what can we do about it..honestly..im assuming, nothing..but thats a helluva lot of dough to just be sitting there and I cant access it.

What happens when you go to an Apez ATM? Do you get an error message?

With that much time elapsed, I would probably file a support ticket with LL under the 'possible fraud' category.

I have used Apez since thet were in Beta in 2005. Wiseguy is usually pretty quick in handling issues - this one seems to be a complex tecnical issue that's taking him a little longer to sort out.

For me, Apez.biz has been quite stable. Vendors I set two years ago I have never reset and they work fine. The Apez owner, Cenji Neutra may need to add another support person to help out. I don't think it would hurt for you to send him a IM about your issues also.

From: Wiseguy Capra
We have received a "lot" of tickets about failed transactions. We're working on locating the issue and we'll match and credit all stuck transactions asap. Please note that due to the large number of tickets response time is longer than usual while we're trying to catch up!

Update:
I have closed quite a few tickets and we continue to work down the list. Sorry for the delays in releasing funds but the number of tickets is rather large.

Regards,
-Wise

If you haven't already, you might like to check the apez forums. I'm sure there was just that issue quite recently where multiple people were complaining about money being 'stuck'. This has also been discussed on other forums.

ETA: Be warned, from memory the admins of apez are saying the 'stuck' money doesn't actually exist.

I smell Ginko all over again.... the available balance doesn't match, because someone else got paid! If they aren't charging interest, there is no reason why you can't get your money back instantly.... something funny is going on, and why have you waited to say something since not hearing anything from August?

Yummy: I am going to make a wild guess from some of the comments that you might need to clarify that apez is like xstreetsl. :)

Yummy,

Like was suggested read the Apez forums.. Ova and I are two of the merchants that lost a good bit of money. A group of people found a glitch in their system.. They take the "FREE" Apez Kiosk and rez it in a sandbox or like area and they purchase things for each other...

We were told that the customer didn't receive the products and that the money was never paid to Apez so therefor it was LL fault and we needed to file a ticket with them.. Well we know what would happen there.. NOTHING. Ova and I watched this group of people at work.. Stood there seeing them put on the products.. We were pretty much called liars by support..

I'm sorry to say, You are most likely out that money and will never see it. :(

I started warning other merchants in Pinks in world group and a few other merchants wanted to hang me for passing on the warning so I just gave up. Others thought since I'm a forum moderator with slapt that I was saying it to help them at that point I just shut up about it.

Sorry you had this experience..

Given the number of MONTHS involved in resolving this, I stand by my first statement -- file a ticket with LL under the Fraud category.

Oh god, yes I remember Ginko..lol..and you know, you are probably right, it makes NO sense whatsoever that I have money coming in that I can not access!

Well, Ive filed tickets on their forums..and I have resubmitted my ticket to their site a few times..I just havent heard from HIM since august..I finally decided to check here, see if anyone else has had it happen to them..

I peeked over at the OnRez forum to see what's up, and if I understand correctly, there is a kind of fraud going on, but there's no money to be collected. As I understand it, the fraud is being perpetrated by people who get affiliate vendors, find (or engineer) sim conditions where payment transactions won't be processed from the vendor owner, and then simply steal products out of the vendors. Apparently the amounts that they should have paid are recorded but aren't available for withdrawal--not surprisingly, since those amounts were never paid.

Anyway, it may be instructive to look at sales history to see if there's a pattern of a few individuals buying a lot at a few specific locations, probably within a short interval.

Not sure what you could do about it other than to cancel out of any affiliate vendor systems.

I think I read somewhere recently about somebody doing their own affiliate vendors with a web backend that scrapes the transaction history first to be sure a payment was received before distributing product. That seems like a lot of work, and introduces a different point of potential failure, but I guess it would prevent this particular problem.
