How to get a Custom Designer for clothes and hair?

I have networked and networked and networked.
I've tried everything I can think of (I just posted on the Forums classifieds as a last effort) to find someone to pay to make custom hair and a custom costume.

Any body got any ideas that I may have over looked?

Offer more money.

Like serious USD. Start at $150-$200 usd, and that is kind of low depending on how much time they invest in the creation.

you might want to give your posts in "Wanted" a few days, maybe the person you need will see them given some time.

Henna type tattoos are available in world, have you tried searching Henna Tattoo?

The costume that you have a pic of in wanted looks pretty detailed, but I wouldn't be surprised if you could find something fairly close to it at Exxess. It wouldn't be cheap but it would cost less than having someone custom design it for you.

Rhaorth in the forum here offers custom work.

Products Wanted thread in the forum is another place to post about your request.

If you pay it, they will come.

Be ready to pay up though. You're not likely to find a talented person that will do it for bread crumbs.

Also, some people explicitly do not bother with custom work. Maybe they are too busy to bother? I bet if you offered some serious cash they might reconsider...

Thanks for the mention Clarissa

I saw what she wants and it is beyond what I am willing to do, especially with my anti SL feelings as of late.

It would take a lot of US $ to lure me into a project like that.

all of it is extremely detailed, the hair, costume and henna

especially the henna, SL is not friendly to fine line stuff, and that henna she has pictured is extremely fine lined detailed.

I wish you luck Sinduvali and hope you find someone willing to do it for you.
(honestly I would not even know where to start, especially with the hair heh)

NP.

I have no idea what work she has/had in mind; but figured something as easy as starting here was worth a shot.

Maybe the OP should approach different artists for different parts of the work.

No I didn't which is why I still don't know what she wants but I take your word on it :)

(It wouldn't have done any good anyway since I don't know what you do or don't do; just that you'd recently told someone in a thread that you do custom work.)

heh tis ok, I do not mind you mentioning me, and if it were within my limits I would have discussed it with the OP

but I know it is beyond what I can do, or even what I would want to attempt to do

You might get more responses if you say how much you're prepared to pay for such work, maybe. That's a pretty detailed outfit you're after, and it'd take someone a *lot* of time to reproduce it. If you make it clear that you know how big a job it is and that you're willing to offer decent money for it - not just a couple of hundred L$ or something like that, but the sort of money that would make it worthwhile for someone to spend many many hours producing that outfit for you - you might have more luck.

You could try posting on "The Official Forum Cartel Unemployment Thread" here.
