I recently deleted this account because it was a "trial" account, just to see what SL was about. I've tried signing up again, but it doesn't seem to work. I keep getting

"Registration Unavailable

Linden Lab limits the number of accounts any household or individual may
create.
You appear to have exceeded this limit."

I've only made 1 with 1 e-mail account. I've tried using new e-mails and clearing the cache but nothing works.

I need a TSL account.

Help?

If you've posted in the forums then it would suggest that this account isn't deleted and you should be able to log into SL with it?

Usually deletion process happens within certain period of time with deleting of
the account.
Who knows I never tried login back in after I deleted a alt account.
Maybe you can only login here for short time but not in world with
the deleted pending account unless you reactivate it within set period
of time for 9.99?
I did have brief problem trying to create account the last time but
I don't remember anything like that but it cleared up when I deleted
one of my accounts but I had 5. One isn't even on same email
account.
Who knows maybe LL thinks you got already 5 accounts due to some
IP glitch within the system but its not true on your end, so it a bug
within the system they use?

Submit a ticket on the support page . Ask LL to reactivate your account so you can log in.

If you are a teen in the main grid, you could simply report yourself and be moved to the teen grid.

When you submit your support ticket, you have a choice...

You can ask LL to finish deleting your account, so that you can re-register with a new one.

Or, you can ask that your account deletion be canceled and your account reinstated, then simply resume using SL as your original account name.

(Although i'm puzzled. I've created several accounts, all with the same email address and information. I've never gotten a message like yours.)

I'm wondering Lindal if this is a Teen Grid parameter, it kind of makes sense stopping residents having more than 1 av on the Teen Grid.

Or having one teen and one adult account?

Either way, submit a ticket.

Minor digression...that's FUBAR, an acronym from the World War II area. There are two levels of chaos in any military organization. First, there is SNAFU...Situation Normal, All F*'d Up. For really significant calamities, it becomes FUBAR, F*'d Up Beyond All Recognition. Or Redemption. Or Recovery.

And that is definitely the description of Second Life Age Verification.

(Thanks to the Resident Geek, who is a fountain of useless information of this sort.)

I just thought of another way to resolve the issue if you are a teen trying to get onto the teen grid: Walk up to a Linden during their office hours and say, "Hey, I'm a teen and somehow got onto the adult grid. I'm here to report myself and would like to know how to get/be transfered to the teen grid, please?"

And support tickets can take days to be answered. Also, it might be that you don't have the correct kind of information to create a teen account. I believe it takes more than an email addy to create one (and hotmail doesn't work for SL, period). I believe it takes either a North American SMS enabled phone number, a paypal account, or a credit card number. At least that's what I got from reading the Teen SL ToS.

If you weren't required to input anything more than an email addy, then either:

A) You are too old to have any business being on the teen grid.

or

B) You lied about your birth date to make an adult grid account. (I am assuming here, this doesn't mean it's right)

or

C) An adult SL user looking to make an account for their Teens.

From what I understand, those who have the adult SL accounts who have teens who want accounts have to jump through a huge amount of hoops to get a Teen account for their offspring. I realize it's to make it harder for adults to get on, but geeze, all the things required for a Teen account are something most adults have! It's for LL to cover their behinds in case of litigation. ;)
