Photography and furniture issue

I've found some great pieces of furniture I want to use for fashion blog photos, but I want to use my poses. I thought I could pose, then just move the furniture in place underneath me, but it doesn't work that way--I end up moving in relation to the furniture. Most of these items are no mod, so I'm not able to insert a poseball, though when I tried with a mod version, it didn't work.

Any advice from someone who's used prop furniture in their photography?

Get the poseball into Edit, sit on it, and move it to what position you want to be on the furniture.

I'm not using poseballs, I'm using modeling poses, so there's nothing physical to edit. Is making a poseball as easy as dropping a pose into a prim?

Hi Mellyn,

You can get a pose changing script and create your own pose balls with the animations you choose, and then place them anywhere you need. I have done this in my studio and it works great.
I requested the script from one of the script creators and he happily made one for me, but of course it's no mod/no transfer. I can make many copies though, and creat as many different pose balls as I need. Also, there's a new HUD at Reel Expression that allows you as the photographer to pose a model, and you can add any of the poses you have. It will work with a model, or you can simply use it yourself and wear the HUD to manipulate yourself while in different poses. Another great tool for photographers. ;)
