Hi all,
a few days ago I logged out with a number of attachments still attached, my hair, AO, a belt, MistyTool etc. Everything appart from the hair wouldn't re-attach when I logged on and refuse to rez when dragged out of my inventory. Other copies of the same items do attach properly, but there are a couple of items I don't have copies of. I've tried clearing the cache etc with no luck.
Anyone seen this before and is there a way to get those attachments back?
Thanks
Talwyn.

I had the same thing happen to me about three weeks ago. I had my attachments on me when I logged off. When I got back online, my earrings were gone, part of my hair (bangs) was missing and an illumination system was gone too. They were still in the inventory, but they would not rez when I tried to re-attach them. Nothing happened and there were no error messages, but they just did not rez - they were simply unusable. I tried all the usual stuff, re-logging, clearing cache etc, but nothing helped. I had copies of the earrings and bangs, but I lost the illumination system Again an indication that the inventory/database in SL is simply not reliable.

I'm having the same issues as you all. The hair or attachments will be located in my inventory, however, every single time I try to attach them, I get the message object not found in database. It's just started the last few days. I've noticed it's not only my attachments, but also textures as well. I submitted a support ticket, but as of yet, haven't heard a word. And it's not just a few items, it's like half my inventory. I hope this "bug" or issue is fixed very soon.

Another resident (Sky Eclipse) was having major problems with her avatar; it would crash every sim that she logged into. Linden Lab finally determined that her MistiTool was corrupt and, as it was attached to her avatar, really hosed everything each time she logged in. I'd try permanently detaching your Tool, then doing all the cache clearing/reattaching of everything except the Tool, etc. Tell us how that goes!

The Mystitool HUD was one of the items that wouldn't reattach untill I used a fresh copy, so I dont think its that.

If it's hair... check your butt. For some reason, it will say it's not attached, but it is RIGHT THERE!! With my shoes, skirt, AO, earrings and whatever else is prim attachment.

Go into an empty water sim like Hyrule and then try attaching things.
You can also try rezzing your attachment on the ground (in a place that allows) and then right click on it and choose to attach it in the pie menu.
