Anyone able to tell me where the metrics spreadsheet went and where are the economic statistics about earners in SL and percentage breakdowns and average land prices etc.?

I have searched around the website and can't seem to find any of that anymore.

Nevermind, finally found it ... just not an obvious link from the main page anymore ... it's buried in the Marketplace page now.

Yes, I missed the graphs as well...
The link in the marketplace: http://secondlife.com/statistics/economy-data.php
only leads to a page with data in file format... not the nice pre-made graphics.

Are the graphics gone?

Well, the graphics were silly anyway, showing growth charts using a linear scale, which makes growth look a lot better than it really is. It's been a while since I did my log charts; maybe it's time to do them again and see if we can see anything interesting in the data.

Eep -- those files are practically useless, since there's only one data point per file!

Looks like they're trying to make the truth difficult to obtain.

Well, there's a surprise - not ;)

The only thing that struck me is the increase in people with a positive cash flow (around 10% of the users). It's mainly at the bottom end but it's still there - despite the economic downturn.

Only approx 8% of those with a pmcf are pulling in more than 200usd before expenses. So as a B2C platform it certainly sucks big time - unless of course you're LL and then it's a cash cow.

How long has it been since they pulled the grid landmass stat? 6 months?
