Has anyone ever had a problem similar to what I am having. I am using a scripted item, I dont want to be specific to save the merchant who sell it being that it might not be his fault. It is similar to a vender but it is not a vender, people pay the item and it performs a simple script, When I drop it it asks me to grant permision to take lindens from me like venders i have seen that take a portion of ur sales and other items. This item is not suppose to take lindens from me but it does. when I have teleported to a certain location it refunds lindens people have paid it. it is random and doesnt do it aall the time and not everyone that has paid it. It has done it twice and both times when I teleported to thjis location. The maker of the item says That in prder for it to work I have to grant it permission to take the lindens but it is not suppose to do this. I paid a lot of lindens for this and wanted to buy another for a diffferent location. Has anyone had a similar experience.

thnx

A well scripted item --- any item -- cathes errors and recovers or continues as needed. It is common for vendors like, Hippo vend, to be scripted to refund money if there is a problem with delivery. Not having a clue what your script is doing, I can only guess that maybe te times it is doing refunds is because the process was aborted for whatever reason and it is working as intended. Maybe so, maybe no. You and he author wuld be the ones to know that.

So, you can either live with the fact that you may give out a few too many refunds or just decline the ability to take money from you and deal with irate customers when something goes wrong and they want a refund..
