Falling

Hi,

I hope someone can help. I'm posting this for a friend. Everytime she goes to her "Home" location she falls, and keeps falling until I can TP her away to safety. I and others can TP to her location fine but she is consistantly having the problem. She can TP to the rest of SL without a problem.

Anybody have any ideas where to start with this one??

Have her try resetting her home position. It may be slightly in the floor/ground.

Thanks very much for a quick reply. I'll get to try that when we are next on together. I guess also that if she can't TP to her Home location she would be able to enter the co-ordinates of a location very close on the map and TP there? Sorry for the further question but I want to try and go in armed with a back up plan!

Try hitting the F or C key to stop flying.

If that doesn't work, try hitting Tools/Stop All Animations.

If that doesn't work, see if she is wearing any sort of a flight enhancer (flight feather, sunglasses, etc.) and take it off.

To reset home position: TP to anywhere, except home. TP back to desired home location, using Search or the map for coordinates. When you've reached your desired position, use World/Set Home to Here.

Brilliant, thanks folks for the help/suggestions. I'll be speaking to her later today (UK) so hopefully we'll get her sorted out. In the meantime thanks again for the help.

I have noticed that anti-push attachment I have messes with my local teleports - perhaps that is another thing to take a look at
