I have been sat here for 20 mins having clicked to startup SL - but the login screen is just black with the word 'loading' in the top left corner.
This keeps happening now!
What's it all about?
REALLY fed up with this!

Several people have mentioned this issue with the "Windlight" client today. I too have the problem.
On a few occasions it came up after I went away to do something else for a while, other times I just loaded the non-Windlight client and it worked fine.

I've been getting that with the normal viewer. You don't have to wait until it loads though. Just click Connect, and away you go. No need to get frustrated.

I get this sometimes with Windlight and sometimes with the Release Candidate. The issue is that the screen says loadng... and is otherwise blank. There is no connect button to click on. This is frustrating as I need the RC for lossless sculptie upload (I have a mac so I cant use the upload utilities). Anyone know what is going on?

Got it yesterday with normal viewer too. I clicked Connect and it wasn't connecting, so I quit SL and tried again. Everything was perfect (*normal*) again.
