I want my partner to be able to setup her radio on the island. What settings does she need?
I already have her an owner in the group i made and an estate manager. The group is assigned to the island but not deeded.
Also she can't see the TV streams on the island but i can.

To answer the actual question, the land is personally owned by you and media can only be controlled by the owner. If the group owns the land, then deeding her radio to the group (making the radio group owned) will enable the radio to work. You must think of the group as a separate entity from yourself, like another avatar. If you do not deed the land to your group, you must provide a radio that is owned by you that will permit her to control it. _____________________

OK, along this same vein. If I should ever win the lottery and buy a SIM and I "sell" lots to people. Do they then have full land owner permissions? They can build, operate devices and do all the things land owners on the mainland sims can do? Except of course that I am the ultimate authority over them.

If she hasn't got a recent version of quicktime then SL will disable streaming media (video) in her viewer on launch due to a exploit in older QT version. have her visit the peach... eh banana.. eh apple website and get the most recent Qt version. + With buying a sim from LL you should have received a pretty large pdf file. I suggest you get really into that and read it front to back and back to front.. and then again...  |
