I'm over 18. I'm trying to work out being a kid and when I look for stuff I mostly find stores. Thats ok I'm even using a mall as my home base and safe place right now. But I'm stillw orking out my avatar and who I am. Don't know if this makes sense. I think what I'm looking for is a directory or a place like a library or a I don't know what. I havn't hardly talked to anybody except one boy I bought some stuff from. I look at kids picks but I dont' see many kids either

A kids dance club recently opened near my store. I can't specifically recommend it since I've never been, but it's very nice so I was disappointed to find out it was a kids club because I'm not a kid. I'm guessing they having specific events because it will suddenly get very busy and stay that way for awhile. It's called primbeach (one word)
They also have numerous childrens shops there. It's in the middle of the Romeno Sim. _____________________

Check out the Livingtree sim. It's completely designed for kids.

Spending time alone finding your virtual identity makes sense to me. You can take a look at my blog for an idea of what i've been able to come with in that regard. Have fun! _____________________

Also consider searching for some of the "adoption" agencies in SL as they offer play zones, safe areas, etc. and are often fairly populated. Make-A-Wish (no relation to the rl Foundation) is probably the biggest I have seen with staff and counselors onsite throughout the day. I think you will find most "kids" in SL tend to be of the school-age variety (ie. 5-12 years) but there are a fair amount of "teens" as well. I wish you the best of luck. I'm sure being a "kid" in SL will be a unique and rewarding experience for you. _____________________

Babydolls is a nice kids area with places to play, shops, and a safe zone. Thats the "Starlight Starbright" region. Good place! Livingtree, of course, was already mentioned (Thankoo - an aso, not *jes* for kids, but very kid safe). There's also the Kid Scout meetings that originate out of Ivanova. There's often things happening in Nemo Beach. Camp HardKnock, which is held each season opens this weekend, but I believe it is all full up (space goes *really* fast). Rumor is that a new elementary school will also be opening soon. Check out the aforementioned blog, as well as http://secondlifechildren.blogspot.com/ Oh, and with dis in mind... there can always be more places, especially places that are not *just* for kids, but are kid friendly. I c'n even provide SAFE signs (There's information about these in Livingtree) to places that do. Mari _____________________

There are a few clubs that (while being open to everyone) attract many kids, like Aspen Nights, PrimBeach V2, Vortex. You also will find lots of kids at Nemo Beach, and you could join the scouts.
