In my user profile, my old country is stated. I want to update this because I think that is needed to do the age verification.
How can I get this changed to my new country? I don't want to start a new with a new avatar.

If you're sure you want to do age verification (bearing in mind that payment info is also adequate for Adult access), you may want to try it with your previous country first (if you haven't already), just because Aristotle may demand forms of ID that are more or less difficult in different countries. I'm curious where you're finding the country information in the account profile. It is used in age verification, but I'm not seeing it elsewhere. (I've moved, too, since my account was created, and I should change that info if it's there somewhere.) One thing to note: You simply cannot change the country of a PayPal account. (I've tried. ) This is incredibly stupid, but it's PayPal's rules. [EDIT: Oh! I see it now, "Country of residence," and mine is out of date, with no evident way to change it. Now I'm really interested in the answer to this, too!]

The thing is that I'm wanting to use paypal to verify my age, but my paypal account (and the belonging credit card) is from my new country!
I think this blocks me because second life says that my paypal account isnt verified, even though paypal says it is.
EDIT: By the way my country is stated in the Account Statements you can get from the secondlife profile pages as PDFs.
Oh, and trying to verify my age by credit card doesnt seem to work either, which I blame on the difference between credit card country and my old residence country.

I had a similar problem when I moved from the UK to Holland. I called Billing and explained the situation and the fact I had moved to Holland for good and LL changed my address/Country details for me. That was 2 years ago so I do not know if they have changed any rules about this but a polite phone call to Billing may help especially as you need the address change to verify your CC or paypal accounts with them so that you can give them money

Hmmm.....I moved to a different state and no matter how many times I update my info.....my old address pops up! I can't imagine the hoops one would have to jump thru to get a country changed....e-gads. But truly....it puzzles me.....I switch between my CC and bank for my SL account so I update my info pretty regularly depending on where I want LL to draw L's from......and EVERY time I do.....add/change billing info.......it shows my old address. What worries me is....when is that gonna come back to bite me in the ass The billing info doesn't match because my bank and CC now have my new address on file.....it totally puzzles me that LL's system doesn't actually 'update' when ya update your info.
