Hello! This is my first offical post as my alt. So be gentle...  So, I created this account to explore Gor (yeah, its Friday, I know...). I did some test combat last night, shooting a bow in GM combat system. To be honest... I kinda suck. I hit my opponent 1 time before I was unconcious. For those familar with Gor, I'd like to be a Panthergirl...but I feel like I have a long way to go before I'm up to parr combat wise. So! This brings me to my questions: Is there somewhere I can go to practice GM combat? I did a test run of getting 'tied up', and I know there is a way to get out by pressing the arrow keys...but I never could figure it out. Anyone know the answer? Does anyone here participate in Gor/Gorean style RP, or is familar with the GM system that would be willing to beat me up and show me the ropes for an hour or two tonight? |

1. The SL Gor forums are a much better place for questions about Gor http://goreanforums.com/You will be surprised at how civil and friend they are over there. 2. If you head for the arena on many sims, you'll find practice bots that you can spar with. 3. Before you enter a sim, make sure you read the rules/laws at the entrance, because many don't welcome panthers. 4. Find some panthers and ask them to spar with you. Ask in the Gorean Forums where to go, or search for the Panther Hub. |
