So I ran across this sim named Linden Memorial Park a few hours ago. It, and some surrounding sims that I must admit I've never seen or even heard of before. They are all flat and completely devoid of content. There is one individual, whom I suspect to be a bot, who is hovering over one of them - was there when I first discovered the sims a few hours ago, and is still there now in the same spot.
Question: have these sims always been there and I'm just blind? Or are they brand new? If they've always been there, what used to be on them - what were they used for? Why are they no longer used for whatever-it-is?
Mari? You're like the resident SL geographer. What are these sims?

When I first went there, there were some half-finished buildings by somebody Mole, but they all disappeared.

A short time ago there was a Brent Linden working on a new island in one of the sims (the sim he was in was no-entry). He seemed to be building a pavilion with what looked like a large burning chalice in the center.
