how would one go about editing a sphere prim with all sides @ 0.001 ? (not 0.010)
the prim has a transparency script (alpha type) and its path cut begin is 0.000 and path cut end is 0.010.
is there a GUI based program available for this ?
attaching to any part of the avatar or HUD is no use at this point.
thanks.
ps:
it would be certainly nice if there was a way to edit objects such as this just by right clicking it in the inventory and choosing "edit".

You should ask this in the Building Tips Forum, here's a link to the sticky Tiny Prims thread:

PS I don't think you can edit this sphere as it doesn't exist, what you see is the hollow which is textured or just coloured, it's an illusion.

Turn on highlight transparent. Drag across the area you see a small red speck in, to select the prim. Zoom in close with the camera so you can see it.

That would be my first method. Maybe use ScanFoo to locate it.

If it starts in inventory, make sure the build tools are active when you rez it, and it will already be selected after it rezzes.

Drag around the area the prim is in. Also zoom in as close as you can, including using control + 0 to get as tight a view as possible. Oh ya, an highlight transparent.
