What's this thing on my screen?

I have the RC client and there is this little translucent gray panel at the bottom right of my screen. I have used the mousewheel to make all the hud items 'zoom out' so it's not an attached hud. It seems to be a part of the UI but what purpose does it serve? Clicking on it doesn't seem to do anything.

Did this just show up and have you relogged since it appeared? I had a similar but larger grey shadow type square over a large section of the upper left part of the viewer once. Thought I had maybe somehow activated something odd from the menus, but could not find anything obvious. Ultimately I relogged and it went away -- I did not clear cache.

It's been there a while. I've relogged many times and done a few cache clears for other reasons. When I enable voice the voice UI appears in the corner but that little thing is still there. I even tried changing to the silver UI and the thing turns into a translucent blue rectangle. I tried turning off the debug menus too. It partially blocks the buttons on my Zhao which is why I want to remove it.

Hmmm, that looks like what happens to my camera controls thing when I un-maximize my window. But I can usually just grab it with my mouse and drag it back on screen.
Otherwise, no idea.

You might try left click and dragging it toward the left of the screen. Sometimes when resizing screens some of the controls get put in strange places. Hope that works for you.

It sort of looks like one of the "consoles" that's been moved partly offscreen. If you haven't already, try looking under Advanced/Consoles. If any of the choices there are checked, uncheck them. These all provide info about how the client is running, and usually all are off. .

Maybe resize the UI? Make it smaller so the thing comes into view fully?
edit: nm, looks like you did that to take the pic, maybe. :/

It was the movement controls window! Haha! I dragged it out and saw the good ol' movement controls. Then I turned off the window. Thanks everyone!

Well, if it were my screen it would have been where I spewed coffee out of my nose from reading the undead thread.
