For some reason I've been wondering why there hasn't been more developed with our ability to fly.
You could have arial stunt teams like The Blue Angels or the Thunderbirds, only instead of fighter jets it could be with jet packs, particles, and flexi ribbons. How cool would it be to start a DJ event or an outdoor concert with a formation of Jetmen strafing the crowd from overhead?
Arial contact sports! Could there be some sort of 3 dimensional arial football? What would happen if two avatars flying fast collided head on? Which would move aside or be pushed? Has anyone tried this experiment?
Or you could even do an Ender's Game game (not to be redundant). That would be something! It might even overcome my aversion to sports.
Surely someone has done this.

Quidditch is the first thing that came to my mind when when you started talking about areal sports. I would would thing someone has done it by now. If not, the new script engine and Havok 4 may make it a worthwhile endevor.

I've had similar thoughts. For years I've flown around the four arms of the hub at Help Islands, over one arm, under the next, hoping that someday someone else would do this. I've never seen anyone perform this really obvious feat. It's fun. It would be fun to have a race. I've wanted to see avatars fly in formation so they spell out moving messages in the minimap or map. Everyone in public places in SL leaves their avatar's location perfectly still for the most part.
