classified update? |

Ive been watching my classified results closely over the last week...and in doing so...have noticed that only two of the four update the visitor number? The top two classifieds (they are all for different things and locations) update the number of times used..the bottom two do not- i know they have been used as at each location i have one of those welcome mats that register each person that arrives. We're not in an area that would have that much passing trade so its got to be from the classified (averaging about 1-20 visits a day ) But...nothing shows on those two classifieds....is this normal?

How do you know those people TP'd in because of a classified? Maybe they took a landmark when they dropped in before and this is a return visit or TP'd in a friend?
I don't know the answer about multiple ads updating. I am sure someone else will though. _____________________

Yes, this has been brought up. Several of us noticed the same thing. I don't even look at the number of TP's on the classified anymore. It's become completely useless to me. I have a visitor tracker right at my landing point. I'm in an area that gets little foot traffic so I'm confident in the accuracy. It's always significantly different than what the classified shows. In fact sometimes I'll go days and the classified numbers dont move at all even though my store will be very busy.

The new search might be delivering your results. |

LL already addressed the issue of the stats in the ads not counting properly and unless they borked it up again, I am assuming that the numbers are correct. And if they are correct, I am not paying more than 50L for an ad. Unless the classified stats are borked again, why would you pay more than 50L for an ineffective ad?

That's true, I do have a high ranking in the new search, but I doubt the classified numbers would act the way they do. Besides, the numbers don't drop to zero when the new ad comes out, they just seem to go up and down with no rhyme or reason that I'm able able to determine. _____________________

When I created a new one I used completely different wording and it's had a huge impact on my business. I wish I could say a good one. It should be fixed for now, but I've learned my lesson on what a difference it makes to ensure you get the correct wording in the ad. _____________________
