For the last two days every time I try to TP I end up crashing. This has happened before, but generally when it does others have been affected to. Now, it seems that it is just me. Any ideas of what it might be or is it just that the Lindens don't like me?

Well, not sure it's just you. Crashing on teleporting is more frequent lately all over the grid.

But if you ARE doing it more frequently than others, one common cause is some sort of problem with your ISP or other part of networking ... a lot of data gets interchanged during the region handoff. If you are on wireless, try using a cable. Also try turning your network modem/router off for about 15 minutes (clears out any cache entries for you in the network).

It's not just you. I thought the problem was confined to WindLight, but I'm seeing more and more reports of TP problems with the standard viewer too.

If it's really *every* time, the set of possible causes is much smaller than if "every time" really means "more often." Either way, though, there are a lot of things that happen during a TP, so if anything is the least bit wrong, it will show up during a TP.

If it really is every time, guess I'd start with the easiest to try: remove all attachments. (Yes, hair too.) If it helps, then start adding back attachments.

Thanks all, when I can power off my router I'll do so and clear it's cache.
Working on my attachments now!
