Just throwing a question out there.
Does anyone know how to access message back logs, archives like you can on messenger? I can't figure out any way to do it myself.

If you have it set to save in your preferences/communication tab it usually tells you where its saved there. I tend just use my windows search on hard drive to find it.

First of all you have to have log IMs or chat turned on in your preferences - Communications - then you can find the logs in the Second Life directory on your computer's C: drive.

There is a setting in the Preferences (on the Communications tab) where you can activate Chat and IM messages being logged. Also, you may specify a directory where to store them. If this is active, you can then access the stored logs through a normal text editor (that's what I do).

I regret finding out how to look at chat logs.... I just found out by reading my wife's archives that she was cheating on me....

From: FD Spark You can choose to save snapshots to hard drive when you take them. Textures if they are full permissions you can go to edit window click save texture as... Also, when you have the texture in your inventory, double-click it to open it in a new window. Once open, select "File" at the top right of the viewer and you should have an option that says something like "Save texture to computer."

It is with mixed feelings I discovered that a PC logs (depending on options selected) chat and IM for *all* avatars logged into that PC, in an open, unencrypted form for all who delve, to read. I'm sorry for your discovery Darkpoet
