Whenever I go to a club or music type event I can't hear the music. My music volume is turned up and I can hear other noises/gestures etc, what gives? I'm sure there is a simple solution to this but I haven't found it so far  Thanks for any help. |

You need to enable play audio in your preferrences. Edit menu > Audio Video > play audio when available. Not sure of the exact wording since I'm not inworld at the moment but that's close. Then when you are in a parcel that has music you will need to click the "play" button on the bottom right of your UI. If you want video you have to do the same for "media".

What I like to do is grab the url being used to broadcast the music and listen on my shoutcast radio player on my iPhone or on iTunes on my other computer.
To grab the url in the land you do not own you enable advanced features (alt + cntrl + Shift + D)
Then click on ADVANCED on your tool bar, scroll to the bottom and click 'view admin features'.
Now you can click the name of the parcel over your head - ABOUT LAND box opens - go to the music tab and grab the url.

That is one of the things I dislike about Emerald. they disabled the "view admin" mode.
