Graphics

Hey all.

I am all of a sudden having issues with the graphics in sl. All was fine then yesterday when i logged in everything was so very dark, even when settings are at midday.

Could be my graphics card on its way out but im kinda hoping it isnt.

Any ideas on how to fix would be great. I use emerald viewer but is the same with the regular sl viewer. I run windows xp.

One possibility is that a gamma setting somewhere may have changed. Inside SL itself, there's Edit / Preferences / Graphics / Hardware Options / Gamma. I suppose it might even be your monitor settings, but I'd guess that it's more likely to be the settings for the graphics card drivers. There's probably a control panel that installed with the drivers, or you might get to it by right-clicking the desktop, either from the pull-down menu or Properties / Settings / Advanced; the setting for gamma will probably be under "Color" or something like that.
