Question about a friend who owns a sim..well the SIM is under his GFs name..but his store....the logo..all the items..everything belongs to him.

Recently..he was building in his store...working on a shoe...shoe had a walking script in it. The shoe was placed out front as if it was on display...he goes to bed..wakes up the next day and finds out he has been banned..temp banned...for 7 days...because of a "disturbing the peace" TOS violation in his own SIM.

He has campers who sit high above the entrance to the store. and cannot for the life of him figure out wth happened...LL won't tell him if there was an object..or a script..or what it was specifically that caused I guess the "complaint". ((but they urge him to appeal the decision on whatever he doesn't know what he did))

He told me that his log shows multiple script errors coming from the boot..(he said "alot'))...so he's thinking somehow the script spammed someone and they complained.....but.....it's his store? :(

Does anyone have anytype of insight or past experience with anything like this to maybe shed some light on the situation? Is it possible for someone to complain about your object on your sim in your store and you be temp banned?((for disturbing the peace??))

He pays for the SIM monthly..so...isn't it HIS peace??? to do with what he pleases?

Thanx for responses,-Lana

right so...even though the floors and the objects being sold...and the roof and all that belongs to him....if one of his objects spams one of his customers...who are buying his poduct...they can complain and get him temp banned?...Do you think perhaps his gf needs to contact LL?

Yes, certainly. This mirrors the problem one of the artists had at a gallery when she was reported for one of her pieces falling on a avatar and being banned for 1 day, she gave Lindens all the information and had the ban removed.

You should certainly get the ban removed, otherwise it stays on record, 3 bans is a lifetime ban.

Both should contact LL. She should give his ticket no. as reference too.

I don't think this is enforced anymore. I know of 2 avatars that have been suspended more than 3 times, one of them is curently serving his 6th suspension!
