I have noticed that a lot of people wear these dance chimes in some of the clubs that I go to. Can anyone tell me where you find these and also, are they already loaded with the dances or do you have to load them.

They're normally called 'chims', a contraction of Chimera, the almost ubiquitous brand for a dance-machine. They're free to pick up at most freebie areas and some of the places selling dance animations. Mine came with maybe three basic dances. The dances you'll see used are usually bought and added by the owner.

CAUTION: Chims are, in my experience, one of the worst items for vanishing from inventory, potentially taking L$1000s worth of dances with them. I've had it happen twice now, but luckily got them recovered both times. It's most likely to happen if you drop the chim to add dances, then wear it from the ground, instead of picking it up and wearing it from inventory. I was stupid enough to do it twice, never again.

I use a huddles and love it. You can select dances at click. Time of dances.. AO and a lot more.... They come with maybe 3 basic dances as well of course I dumped those to add my 60+ Premium dances... lol

Ive used a dance foo for years and had no problems. never had it poof either. you can check the picks for crystalshard foo for a shop location.

Last night I had asked someone inworld where I could get a "chimer" and they apparently gave me one. I have just logged in to SL and saw there was one in my inventory....

Now I am off to find the dances that I like to add to it.

I've had both and recomend spending a few lindens and getting the Huddle as well.

There are a few other newer retail ones as well, but I havent tried one.
