Am I being tracked?

I know there are devices which will show whether av's are on-line regardless of friendship status but is there any way of locating which sim they are in? I ask because I recently crossed swords with someone and several times later they showed up in the same sim as me and not at my usual haunts, is this just a coincidence??

only methode outside map status for friends that I'm aware of is with a script in something you are wearing, either as hud or on your body, other then that I can't think of an option where you can get someones position without being in scan range.

A couple of possibilities, beyond coincidence: You could be wearing an attachment (e.g., some sort of combat meter) with a script that surreptitiously reports your whereabouts. Or you could go to someplace with a script that reports your presence.

A few months ago, a new feature contained a defect that allowed a script to monitor where an agent goes, one teleport from where the script is located. This has been fixed (we think).

Less likely, but if you were to IM your stalker and s/he were using certain third-party viewers, they could extract your location from the IM packet. (I think this still works.)

It is also possible you enjoy the same types of destinations as the others. If I have 5 Jazz bars in my town, its likely I will bump into a few people I know that like Jazz.
