i was wondering if anyone is using Vista and running SL
and what problems its got if any.
My system specs are
Athlon 64 3700+ (2.21ghz)
1.43GB Ram
NVidia Geforce 7300GS - 512MB
150GB + 80GB Hard Drives
and it runs SL fine at the moment at 1280x1024 sometimes crashes randomly (ususly 3 or 4 times a week)
If i upgrade to Vista will it still work, i know Vista itself works on my PC and the graphics card is vista ready

I am using a Sony Vaio with vista and it works fine  My specs are: Core 2 Duo Processor T5500 1.66GHz Memory: 1GB/Go DDR2 SDRAM (2x512 MB) HDD : 120GB Graphics:NVIDIA GeForce Go 7400 GPU Screen: 1280 x 800 Windows Vista Home premium. I always think I should have more ram, but it really does work fine for me, I can have SL going and surf the net. Hope this helps  |

Yes SL will run on Vista. I have no problems running it at all and I run the 64bit version of Vista. I doubt switching to Vista will solve your "random crash" problem but it's worth a try. The only issues I have with running SL on Vista is my video card drivers are not up to par yet (8800GTS Nvidia - Vista x64) From: someone Hello,

If I had a dollar for everytime this came up  There are tons of threads with some great information and user experience re: vista. Try doing a quick search, tons of info already out there that may help you out; it helped me. I have vista and it runs SL fine. I think the majority of time people are running into problems is vista with an ATI graphics card.

all the vista problems (concerning SL) are history...
