Dashboard Question

In relation to the friends section on ones dashboard. Ive noticed on mine, I have it as online showing first, then offline people in alphabetical order. Although in my the case, there are sometimes four to five names at the end of my offline section, which arent in the alphabetical order...they are down the bottom, though start with A, C, F, H etc....and sit out of alphabetical order. Why would that be?

Capitalization? At least in my list, those with lowercase first names come at the end, presumably the collating sequence of whatever coding by which they're sorting.
