Hi, two very easy quick questions about billing and trading limits. Am I reading the page about billing and trading limits correctly? If I obtain Linden Dollars for the first time today (Monday) then in 2 days time - i.e. Wednesday - the limit increases from US$10 and I should then be able to buy Lindens up to US$100 worth? Also is that limit per day or per month? Thanks. P.S. Ok, that's technically 3 questions but the first one covers both questions

I believe that is the limit up to the amount of days you are a resident. So its not 100 more, its 100 total. You may also consider buying L$ from Slexchange.com although, not sure, they may have a limit as well for new residents.

It's per cycle actually. You should have a 'next billing date' in your profile somewhere. About 30 days per cycle.

I beg to differ, the buying and selling limits are a roling basis, so if your limit is 100 usd per day and 200 usd per month, you can buy 100 usd worth of lindens, 24 hours later buy another 100 usd worth of lindens and then 29 days later another 100usd, 24 hours after that another 100 usd etc etc

Thanks for the replies everyone. It looks from the answers that it's not entirely clear to some how the limits work. But now that I have had a chance to try it out I thought I would update this thread with my results to help anyone else out who may want to know the answer.
First of all I was able to buy US$10 worth of Lindens on the Monday (my first transaction). It then told me I had reached my limit for the day and also the month. On Wednesday I was able to buy US$100 worth of Lindens and I was then told I had again reached my limit for the day and the entire month. Based on that, 8 days following the initial Monday, I should be able to buy up to US$300 worth of Lindens according to the Billing and Trading Limits page.
There is also a limit with SLExchange but I haven't looked into that in detail.
So if you are thinking of buying land you really need to get the funds into your avatar's account beforehand unless you can pursuade the owner to put the land on hold for you.
Now I just need to work out what the Purchase line means on the page (how is it different to the buy or sell Linden lines?).
I hope this post helps others who may be confused.

Your first 30 days as a resident your limits are different from the rest. Your limit increases (total) by whatever the amoun is on the line for what day your are old.
After 30 days you go to the regular charts I think its 2500 per 30 days.
It is a rolling 30 days so if you bought 100L every day for 25 days then on day 31 you could buy 100L again.
