Are there any websites out there that let you communicate with someone in-world? I'm not talking about realtime communications. I was justing thinking it would basically send the payload message to a prim "in-box" in world and then parse the message and shoot your IM to the person you specified. From what I understand, this would be possible.

Basically, the website would give you a box for your message and a box for the recipient. Then you'd hit send and several minutes later the person would get the IM in-world, routed to them by your message object.

Thanks in advance.

zonkster.com

The recipient actually gets the text in green chat rather then IM, since it is forwarded by script in a prim.

Yes, you can login and be able to communicate ppl on your friends list. However you wont be able to see anything.
*Please note I just checked and their website is being updated so give a bit

here it is:
http://ajaxlife.net/login/
or try
http://ajaxlife.net (think this one is down at the moment it says: Sorry, it seems AjaxLife is currently down. Check back in a few minutes - we should have recovered by then!

This site does work. I used it at work because you dont have to do a download.

Hope this helps

I use Ajaxlife at work, too. Very handy for sending IMs, sorting inventory, etc.
