Just had 2 blue popups ,top right screen .an unknown sender has offered you a Free Money O rb .I discarded it. Anybody else had this today?

I get them when I hit my favorite spot and when I goto a shop I frequent. I think Ive got it pinned to bots. Just discard the item. fre linden orb sounds like something steal lindens. Because it probley would require you to accept debit perms and if you did well. I dont even want to think about. so just discard to be safe

I heard a report about those a week or two ago. Allegedly it is a device to steal all your lindens. There are free money orbs that you can buy that will give some of your lindens ramdomly to people where you set the orb up. It would be natural for someone thinking that they had been given one of those to agree to the debit permission. It's best to always decline unsolicited free items from someone you don't know.

I thought the sameting. The first one I accidetally accepted because I have been having problems with my mouse getting trigger happy. When I went to delete it from my inventory my mouse got trigger happy and it hit wear. I took it off immediately and discarded it. I hope that My lindens will be ok. Just to be on the safe side I transfered most of my lindens out of my avatar. I got another pop up a couple of minuets later and I just discarded it. Try never to accept thing from staingers.

karoline, if the object tryed to take your lindens it would need to ask permission and you would get a massive yellow pop up on the right of your screen asking if it's ok, so your lindens are fine
