Missing Accounts

I have a couple of friends who's accounts just disappeared and Linden Lab doesn't know how it happened it seems. When you do a search for their names it doesn't show up. Only way I can see their info is if I double click on the calling card name in my inventory. Anyone else ever had this to happen? they lost a TON of stuff because of this.

LL didnt delet their accounts?

If you get suspended your account will go invisible like this, and the profile's only accessible if you have an object owned/created by the person, like you said. They either got suspended for disciplinary action, or (more likely) had some billing problems or financial irregularities and got autobanned as a result. (My SL partner once got autobanned for trying to buy a dress for a friend. A tenant of mine once got banned for buying money on LindeX. Really.) They need to submit support tickets ASAP asking what the deal is.

LL does not ever DELETE accounts unless you specifically request that they be deleted- and even then you can still recover the account for some weeks after, upon request.
