I've noticed these now include those with Nvidia 8000 series graphic cards as the over £500 laptops are coming out with 9000 series.
Anyone think if much difference with the 9000 over the 8000?
I'm a bit tempted to buy an out going model with 8000 series, but wonder should I wait 6 months or so for the ones with 9000 series to drop in price?
( there is allways something new every 6 months.)
I can't justify spending pots of money on a new laptop as my present one is ok except it will not run SL. Most sad when away from home.
PS Is SL heavy on battery charge life?

June Hi June yes SL is heavy on battery charge life because it uses just about everything in the computer a lot!

Seems to be over £500 with vat added and not a 9000 series.

With nvidia cards, the first number tells you the series, and the second number tells you how advanced the card is. So an 8800 may actually be better than a 9500. So do your research.
And post this in the correct forum, so you'll get more replies.
