Skunk furries?

not sure if this is the right place 2 post this but do anyone know where 2 find a Skunk Avatar?

Have you tried Luskwood and Lost Furest? I'm pretty sure one of them has a skunk...

That looks like a Luskwood one. I knew of someone active in Luskwood who wore a skunk furry for awhile.

The curious avatar owner ( Uchi Desmonds , have to check spelling not in game) had one but I think you have to go to the curious sim to buy them since the lost furrest vendors no longer have them

well it not the 1 i'm looking 4 but thanks. and uhh...anyone know where I can get a job 2 make 800L fast...or would it b best 2 just use my own cash?

The consensus always seems to be that it's best to use money earned in RL to pay for SL goodies. 800L$ sounds a lot, but it's less than US$3, so unless you're already running a successful business in SL (and then I doubt you'd need to be told) it's better to just spend a few bucks from your entertainment budget.

Actually, the *best* way is to get someone else to pay for it, but you won't find many volunteers.

I'll second the recommendation for Rocket City Furmeet. they have the largest selection of furry avatar vendors that I know of in SL.

I believe Curious, Inc. has some nice looking ones. Try them first.

Luskwood isn't bad, but I would be seriously weary of giving them money: For every satisfied customer they have, they have another that they've alienated forever due to their relatively underhanded tactics and complete lack of courtesy. I'd seriously consider building my own skunk rather than buying a Luskwood one if it comes down to that.

Did you try Loco Pocos? They have an outlet in Raglan Shire. I just ran cross it while I'm wandering the sim. Maybe some other folks here have skunks too, if you don't mind being a tiny furry. Tinies are so cute, I just want to give them all doggie kisses!

Hey Ava, at Luskwood we make several colors/patterns of skunks but the one in the youtube link is not ours, sorry.

The one in the video is, without question, a Curious Moufette.

Made by Uchi Desmoulins; the location is in his picks, and it's the "Curious" sim.

No doubt about that whatsoever.

I believe their vendors are at other locations as well such as Rocket City Furmeet.

Besides ours and Uchi's, there *are* other skunks available, I just haven't seen them around in a while so I'm not sure.

(That's NOT a testament to their quality or not-quality, just saying I haven't seen them because I've been too busy to visit many places lately.)

I do believe Lost Furest still has theirs in their vendors (they've been concentrating mostly on ferals lately, but I think they still sell all of their anthros.)

NWS (Ninja Weasel Studios) has one too, and I -think- it's still in their vendors.

To cover all the bases, look at the "Rocket City Furmeet" and "Northstar" sims; you can get more of a landscape of what's out there, and find something that suits you.

First of all : this crap about Luskwood being some shady business... LOL - these guys are a little quiet maybe, but otherwise a really great group of people who generally keep to themselves and really aren't big on competing business-wise. They do their own thing and don't overly concern themselves with what other folks are up to project-wise.

I've been around just a little bit shorter than LW has and can speak from plenty of experience. LW is a little on the serious side sometimes and don't tolerate people who are causing social problems in Lusk. They also don't act without provocation... Being kicked or banned has this interesting side effect, such as in Baloo's case, where it seems to be causing these ousted invididuals to pop in on the forums and other public venues with the intent to slander and defame in order to `get even` by using a little good-ol' rumormongering.

That having been said - I'd strongly recommend that you check into both Luskwood's Skunk and Curious Inc.'s Moufette.
Both of them have a unique style and feel to them - there are a few others styles as well, and you could probably run across them if you checked out some of the larger malls in Rinji, Insula Cauda or Northstar Polaris or maybe even FP Yokai.

You can find the specific two I've mentioned in the regions : "LUSK" and "CURIOUS" respectively.
