Well I noticed for the first time last night that I have several new buttons...I found them inside my profile box on every tab.
I also looked at the profiles of other people and sure enough, those buttons were in their profiles as well.
I was afraid to try them out to see what they do, because they looked dangerous.
Are these super power buttons or am I just worrying about nothing? Does anyone else have them too? And do they know what they are for?

They are activated if you have pressed Ctrl-Alt-V, giving yourself access to the Admin menu.

Yes, the Admin menu shows them to you, but if I remember correctly, you cannot really use them.

From: Max Herzog You can fly in a no fly zone, which is handy. Oh, I simply meant that you cannot use those new Admin options that you see on a person's profile. And I did just verify this -- you can click the options and it pretends it is going to do it, but it doesn't really do anything. There are a few other things that the Admin options give you: You can get access to the Music URL on the Media tab of About Land, though you cannot change it unless you really do have those rights. There is also something about Group info that you can get access to, but the specifics are not coming to me right now. You can offer Teleport, via profile, to people that don't usually allow that option for folks not on their friends list - probably a few more things that I am not thinking of right not.

Oooh, that's very useful - if you are in a place and like the stream, it's nice to be able to find out what it is.

BTW - even though Admin will give you the 'Offer Teleport' option via their profile, it does not actually mean that they are truly online at that moment. You will get that option for everyone all the time whether they are logged in or not. The Admin options will also show you the button 'Find on Map', but if the person has not given you that ability, you will not really be able to see where they are.

In other words, it's a pretty lame set of admin options. Apart from my fly in a no-fly fave, and the mmm, good music stream one.

From: Max Herzog I know you did. I was merely highlighting my favourite admin function You have to be careful with that one. I have a tendency to almost always have the Admin Options enabled and I seldom look at the parcel restrictions that are shown at the top of the screen. If I want to fly, I simply fly - but I got reemed one day for doing this in a no-fly area that I had not even realized was a no-fly zone. Some areas will actually ban you for this - on the first offense.

I hate sims where they make you walk for miles, especially as 99% of running animations make one look camper than a row of tents. Unless that's the desired effect, of course.

But is it possible to strap on my bubblegum pink hoverpack and quickly zip across the sim? Or my Buck Rogers spaceship. That'll learn 'em! C.

From: Isabeau Imako I wonder what 'Kick' does? If you're a Linden, it logs the person out of SL. Freeze and Unfreeze do the same as the associated landowner powers, but anywhere on the grid. "CSR" nobody's really sure about - "customer service representative", presumably, but what it actually does I don't know.. There's a lot of interesting functions around, like the "reverse offer teleport" that used to be available to Live Helpers (instead of saying "do you want to teleport to me?", it says "can I teleport to you?"
