I had two of my neighbors show up on a magic carpet once, floating off my balcony. We chatted for a bit and they offered to show me their home which was a sim over. I hopped on the carpet and we chatted away when one mentioned that his boyfriend, who was controlling the carpet, crashed. He looked like he was there to me but apparently it was just a ghost. Eventually he did disappear leaving only his shoes and hair riding along with us until we finally crashed into a tree. He had his hair and shoes when he came back but a duplicate pair stayed with us that we were all able to see. It was a lot of laughs.

Don't know if it's still around, but the unsit near a wall bug launching an AV much farther than necessary was funny for me when my nude partner was flung off the edge of a skybox, I was giggling so much at the sight, it took me a moment to send a rescue TP!

I was just about to log off and go to bed when I read your reply here - made me laugh out loud just picturing it. I've seen that happen before, some guy's duplicate(ghost), long flowing-red-viking hair seemed to be attached to his pubic area. We were all kind of Role Playing, so no one said anything, but I was in tears behind my screen. _____________________

Crashing when I do a search in inventory before it's finished loading. Not a funny one, sorry, unless you count that I'm usually searching for "Hitler's Penis".

Had a friend who had logged off but her avi was still in world...She couldn't log back on until the 'ghosty' avi was gone.....Trying to knock it offline was fun...
It eventually went of it's own accord. Least fave...Asset server problems..grr! _____________________

Fav. sl bug. The fact the SQL/asset server model for SL makes it impossible/very hard to check prim sizes of existing objects and the previous flaw in the server code to check prim size maximums on the packets sent from arbitrary clients (including 3rd party client code).
We also call them 'megaprims'. Least fav. SL bug. The sometimes erroneous runs of the garbage collector on the asset file system. Usually after big changes to SL asset management backbone. We also call them 'massive inventory losses'. _____________________

The best bugs in SL are the ones I read about that are set to 'do not apply to Conifer Dada'! LOL!!
The worst is the red minimap freeze followed by the dreaded 5 minute logout when the blue sausage gets stuck 99% of the way across the screen. |

Bugs in SL: Things which break, and the chances of having them ever fixed is slim to none.
I've been bothered for months by the "Textures stretch when you stretch a prim whether or not you want them to, and even when the box 'Stretch Textures' is not ticked," bug. My expectation for this ever being fixed within my lifetime: .0002. coco _____________________

when bored create an linked object of a couple prims and click 100 times on the texture and select so they all have the same texture and color after watching it flicker 1000 times
do that aswell even if not bored... _____________________
