Reason for larger ABANDON LAND button?

It was annoying that the button was located on the EDIT TERRAIN window and on top. It is also in the ABOUT LAND box too. But what is the reason for making the button now almost twice as large in the windlight firstlook viewer?
Since I work with Estate and Mainland, I have to pay close attention to each transaction. In the past, I have accidentally clicked the ABANDON LAND button to see a warning window pop up. Luckily I stopped what I was doing in the middle of a phone call or I would have lost a good chunk of land. (yes, I know, pay better attention always)
The question still remains - is there that much land abandonment occurring that the ABANDON LAND button needs to be twice as large as the BUY LAND button?

Good time to post my favorite post:
NEVER ABANDON LAND!!!!!
Merely set it a wee bit below the lowest price per meter listing on the first page of Land search. L$.1 less than the first listing is usually low enough for it to sell within minutes. If you need to sell it instantly, set it at L$.2 per meter less than the lowest listing at any given time.
For example, if the first listing is selling for L$7.2 a square meter, set your land for L$7.1 a square meter.

If you list it like I suggest, it will be land brokers showing up, not land bots because they are set to get land that is cheaper than $L.1 less than the base price. I like this a lot better because it gives the seller more money and spreads the land around so bots don't get all the good plots.

Actually, it was the same person I bought from, now that I look into it. I guess they made a sliver of profit from selling to me, and then later buying it back from me for slightly less.

seriously, every time i look up my land traffic.... most everything in that panel is greyed out, except the ABANDON LAND button. just.... sitting there... obviously... sticking out.... from the other things.... just CALLING me to click it!!!
