shoutcast help

i got a new conputor with windows 7 and now when i close winamp and open it again the settings gous to default anyone have a solution ?

i did not test it (w7) yet but, maybe you can run winap by administrator?
like in vista, right click and run as administrator

Add the URL as a book mark.. Or right click and save file.. That will give you a pls file on your desktop you can click for instant access.

64 or 32 Bit system? What settings go back to default?

If you look up the station on shoutcast.com when you click it you will get the option to open or save.. Save it and it will save the link for you to just click and tune in.

I had a similar problem with Win7 64bit... I am using foobar with Edcast to stream and it didn't take my URL and Password permanently either... I reinstalled it without putting it in the Defualt Programs(x86) folder and made sure Edcast, as the streaming plugin doesn't write into AppData Folder. That made it for me, seems to be a permission problem, as I think that those Programs are not really aware of windows 7 yet... only my two cents...

aaaaaaah ok im using winamp with shoutcast and dsp plugin, guess i have to type in my settings manually then that works too but im lazy lol hoped to find a easy solution
