Bree's post got me thinking.....

I am the quintessential explorer in SL. I am forever looking for cool areas to explore or shop.....but even tho I've spent lots of time doing this...I'm sure I haven't even scratched the surface. So.....what I want to know from you guys......what are some really cool, well designed, shopping areas that you've discovered.

Ducknipple is fun......that was actually in showcase before they pulled 'shopping' out of the catagories. The other really amazing place I found....I can't recall the name of LOL but it's in my LM's. So.....what else is out there? I'm talking about cool quality shops in really well designed, creative, appealing areas. I don't care if it's fantastical, grunge or designed to resemble a high class down town district....I just want to know where the cool places are. ;)

I'm talking about 'shopping districts' not single shops. I love DaLa too....and LeeZu but I quantify them as singular. What I'm looking for isn't your fave shop.....but entire areas that are both visually entertaining/pleasing....and good shopping districts. ;)
Lalique Square where Reel Expressions is, is one example.....but last time i was there, they didn't have that many other good shops.
So...again.....I'm looking for entire areas....not just 'a store'. A lot of times while I'm exploring places just for aesthetics....I accidentally find an amazing shopping district...I just need to remember to grab LM's more often. :p

I enjoyed poking around the Retrology sim. It's been a few months, but I remember some nice park areas along with the shops and stores.

There was another nice shopping area this thread brought to mind, but I can't recall the name or any of the stores. (Some help, eh?) I do remember that it was on the Dubya sim.

Oh definitely check out Creamshop! (Cream Shop in search, maybe?)
Black Spot for a nifty pirate theme
St. Michel, definitely
Insilico (futuristic)
Rustica / Arcana Nuevo (sort of medieval)

My favorite shop/explore combination sims include: Drowsy, Tableau, Scribble, and 6pi. I am sure I have other favorites as well but those are the ones that leap to mind now when I am not in SL.
