Can i delete my current character?

I dont like the look of my current character, is there a way to delete her or create a second character?

Yes.

No need to delete your entire account to do this. Just get her a makeover!

You can get new shapes and skins to 'wear' and new hair, clothes, everything. Think of your av as a virtual Barbie/paper doll. Dress it up however you want to.

You can also make a new account or alternate account, "alt" for short.

Look up the 'best freebies' thread here, it's current, for ways to do all this for free.

You can totally change the look of your avatar. There's enough of a selection in the library in your inventory for you to get a feel of what's available. You can pick an entirely different shape as a starting point, go into appearance, and change the shape as much as you want. You can also play with the clothing layers just to see what the basic features are like, though the results will at best be very plain.

Once you understand this part, then you can start visiting the various freebie shops, where you can get shapes, skins, and clothing that will show you even more variety. Eventually, if you're like most people who stay with SL, you'll either start paying for clothing, skins, and other items, or learn the skills needed to create them yourself.

Edit: If you use shapes, clothing, or whatever from the library, edit them, and save them, you'll get your own copy. The originals in the library won't go away until the next time LL decides to overhaul the library. So don't be afraid to play with things.

That won't be true if you work with freebies you pick up or other things that you bought. You'll need to get used to the various permission options. Many items that you get this way will allow you to make a backup copy, but not all.

Kitty would you like a box full of info and landmarks?

Kitty Halostar is a cool name. Bad name would be the only reason someone should delete a character in LL since they don't allow name changes. I can think of at least 50 names of avatars I've ran across that should be deleted because the name suck.
