I understand that you can't associate landmarks with shortcuts. But can landmarks be associated with the function keys? Like gestures can? Please tell me it can be done, and how to do it!

Not that I know of … but you can use your map and in the My Landmarks dropdown box start typing the name on the LM … because they are listed alphabetically in this dropdown, one trick I do to places I always go to is edit the LM and put a ! or * in front of the name .. this way they are always listed first.

The other thing you can try is having a gesture say (using the chat command) a SLURL which is the hyperlinked equivalent of a landmark. To get the SLURL for your landmark, open the landmark, view its location on the map and you will see a button in the bottom right corner to copy the SLURL. You then paste the SLURL into a chat line of the gesture and assign a shortcut/function key.

It's a bit messy but it will work.

Some devices like the Mystitool (and others I'm sure) will allow you to drag landmarks onto them so you can access them easily at the press of a button.
