Where Are My Ads! Holy H3ll!!!!!!!!!

I have not been following things here on the forums or the changes that have taken affect in SL much. BUUUUT...my employees just informed me that my biz is NOT in search anymore
Surely enough..I checked and its NOT there...i have at least 7 ads!!! I pay for them every month and they dont show up in all or places..nothing..nada zip....now, since I havent really been informed of what the H3LL is going on..I have nothing to go on here except Ive been screwed!!!!!! Shouldnt we get a damn notice or something when we get it up the wazzoo around here!!!!! IM sorry but im really P.O'd and im keeping the language nice..because you dont really want to hear what Im thinking! Can someone tell me..if Im ranting for no reason..or is there something Ive missed about classifieds..!!!!!!

did you make sure they had 'show mature content' clicked?

Id your in the RC, they won't show up in Adult yet.

Your profile contains 8 classifieds, searching for badkatz in classified throws up about twice that number of ads, including the ones that appear in your profile.

That's using the RC with adult content allowed and I'm age verified and payment info on file.

I can see the classifieds, not the places entry for the shop. A while back, people were having trouble with "show in search" becoming unchecked, apparently on its own, maybe give the checkbox a flipflop and see if that unsticks it?

Oh yeah, there is also a bug out there that keeps any classifieds from showing in all search. The temporary cure is to clear the browser cache (web tab, not the usual cache clear).

I'm in apple RC atm, I can't see any adult, I tried to log on and look for yours and mine after reading Wulfric's post but the whole thing is jammed and I can't even log on.

Its just a total free for all mess..i dont have any sex items, but i do have some naughty outfits..maybe they will just wring me now..

At least with the Public Nightly, I'm seeing more than enough of these ads to be thoroughly confusing, as long as Mature is checked. There's a boatload of 'em in the Classified tab and the "paid classifieds" column of All. As I look at it, though, I'm guessing something isn't quite right about the Places listings. The "rental mall" listing has no image nor description, and it's one of only three Places listings under the Region; perhaps there was a store listing here that didn't get refreshed when the parcel was changed (or something?).

Hmm, well I even re installed it, it's dead as a doornail, just freezes up as soon as it opens, bloody macs, bloody SL...

Good luck Yummy, I hope you find them, I remember I think in general tab in the veiwer you had to select adult there as well.

These aren't Adult ads. I just checked and they show up fine in the standard 1.22 viewer, in addition to the 1.23 pre-releases. And no more or fewer with or without Adult enabled in 1.23.

If there's been any change here, I'll bet it's associated with some change in the parcel(s). I notice that the "clothing main store" parcel--45552 sq.m.--does *not* have "Show Place in Search" enabled. Can that be intentional??

There's a bug where for some people classified ads don't show in All search.

Problem is, people who don't have this problem don't believe it's a problem, so there isn't an uproar over classifieds not showing. You can fix it for yourself by clearing your browser cache, but that doesn't make your ads appear for everyone else.

So, an unknown number of people aren't seeing classified ads.

Grant you I did not page thru everything- but why is that Adult? All you had was clothes and no nudity

I have a PG sim with all PG items...not even a kissing pose ball. I noticed last week I was no longer in ALL Search...after having this store for a year and half.

I cleared my in game web browser and it still doesn show up... though it does show up in the classifieds. It is pretty discouraging

It is discouraging, because I really dont know how to go about putting up the classifieds anymore. Am I going to be considered adult because I have some sheer clothes?
I feel like I'm having to watch every move I make now, and I know its not LL fault. Its our backwoods american government.
The russians have topless weather ladies, but we cant even have a VIRTUAL nipple showing?
