Help!!

I have been having trouble logging on to my Avatar....His name is Trebor Teardrop...
I have had trouble all day today....So i waited and waited while trying to logg on over and over and SL telling me that the service was unavailable...

So i tried to use my Alt...and i found that Trebor was online.....Thinking that someone hacked into my account. So i changed my password....but then i realized that if someone was using my account to steal Lindens, my attempt to logg on would of booted the thief offline...

after changing the password i still could not logg on....so while using my alt I found Trebor in Morris/Ahern floating in a falling position near a bench next to 2 other avatars in the same situation....

I reported this issue to (Governor Linden) and im awaiting a reply....and i reported a ticket with SL..
I have no idea on how this happend or how my Avatar got into this situation...

If you are in the Morris area you can see what i am talking about....

I have no idea on how to fix or correct this issue other than what i have done so far.

all it is is your avatar is hung in a loggout..you could try rebooting your modem or seeing if logging into another sim will work or try sending a linden to your stuck avatar..sometimes that works too..
it kind of common but not as common as it used to be..

I have already rebooted my computer....and i just reset my DSL modem....
and I sent some Ls to the account and it did not accept....

how long has it been stuck?

you may be able to have the sim owner restart the sim for you ..
i'm just grabbing at straws because really i don't think there ever was a fix for this..but i do thing sim restarts helped..

It looks like you're in the Morris welcome area. That place is owned by the Lindens and it crashes pretty often so you'll be logged out soon enough.

Yes I am in the Morris Area...
and yes...it looks like the sim may have to be restarted...

I just wish there was another way

Sent a friend over there. Two others are suffering the same problem. Just floating there flailing their arms and legs. Peeps are walking through them.

i was once stuck up in the air and nothing i did could get me down,i contacted my estate owner at the time and he restarted the sim and i was back to normal again

Yeah....thats what the SL mentor said....
Ill probably have to wait a day or so do the SIM can reset

according to the SL website i may have to wait until Feb 3rd until i can get my avatar back
