I have a friend who is wanting to turn her sim into a Second Life main attraction, so I am taking a pole for her to help her figure out what kind of new things the people of SL would like to see or do

Don't you mean a 'poll'? (although there are plenty of popular places in SL that already use 'poles' to attract customers...) If there was anyone here on the forum who did have a brilliant idea for turning a sim into a 'Second Life main attraction', surely they wouldn't hand it to you on a plate just because you asked for it? |

Can anyone post on the forum without getting bitter replies anymore?
Yes I mean a poll. Our goal is to create a fun place in SL not, to compete for the top. Some place for people to just hang out and have fun without it all being about money. Almost every place in SL is now camping bots, camping chairs or pads, survey machines or money trees. |

Keeping all the tat away will be a good start - and it's important that it's something you will enjoy and will love hanging out there. Taking a hint from Ghosty, it's worth thinking about a favourite book or film and inspiration may hit you. Good luck whatever you end up decising to do with the SIM! |

Absolutely. Why not? I'm not limited on ideas, and I don't have the resources or the time to run and maintain an entire sim all by myself. I've allways wanted to build a really futuristic sim, im talking about thousands of years in the future. So i would like to see someone build their vision of the future. Doesnt necesarily need to be sci-fi and techy, maybe take inspiration from the Time Machine or Waterworld and create a future where humanity has regressed or evolved into something different. Bascially i would be looking for originality and forms and structures not currently in existence today.
