can someone test something for me please?

I am trying to set things for sale, and for some reason the show in search box will not stay checked.

I need to see if it is me, or if it is doing this for everyone.
I have tried with item set for sale via check box, and item being sold using a script for the meta card, which you do not check set for sale

and both ways, the show in search just goes back to unchecked.

my land is checked to show in search, it is not restricted (it is my store)
and it just will not keep the checkbox checked

always did before

I need to know if it is happening to anyone else, cuz if so then I will report it, if not I will just relog AGAIN, and clear cache AGAIN

in contrast, i can NOT get the "show in search" to UNcheck once checked. i had to lift and reset everything. ugh.

ok tried that and nope, did not work, as soon as I rez it again, the box is unchecked.. and if I check it again, it still goes back to unchecked

I'm having trouble with this too. I thought maybe there was a limit on how many things you could have showing, but I tried to uncheck some of the similar items to make room for the new and it still wouldn't work.

This is a glitch that is happening to 99% of people at the moment. People in some of the groups I am in commented on it... as soon as you close the edit box, it snaps back to having the search box unchecked.

I've been finding the same thing since about Friday night (UK time) but it's always been when the grid is busy, so I've been blaming that.

I wonder if it could be related to the Rolling Restart?

I guess we should start a JIRA on it pdq. Not sure how to get the Lindens to notice otherwise? Mind you, not sure if they notice JIRAs till they have lots of votes...?

I don't but I can ask a programmer friend who usually can figure out most things
If nothing else I could test things out see with my smart friend if the problem can be duplicated and tell Rhaorth if its happening to us during the week.
I have been thinking of opening up texture shop with my hand drawn textures soon so I am going to have to do some similar things..

The drawing in my signature I am actually trying to do prim version of it in on my land where the shop is.
I need to tweek the prim textures still. The pixie that looks human that is holding his head is named Compassion he has teleporter that will tp users to my texture gallery and store.
I do bit of all sorts of stuff, I am trying to learn also how to do complex types of drawings on prims too....
I haven't tried do store for long time because it all gets bit overwhelming and I haven't been sure if my stuff was good enough.
I primarily do hand drawn flowers, window, fabric, some curtains, object related i.e furniture, pots, pan and related textures, window and interior and exterior building textures but only few have seen them in SL so far.

yesterday, Saturday, I noticed SL being wonky like that, I reinstalled and it cured my problems. Complete uninstall then reinstalled the SL and also reinstalled my Nicholaz viewer.

So reinstalling fixed the show in search checkbox?

Atashi, reinstalling did not work for me.

i even reformatted and DL the new viewer, and that didn't change a thing.

it's borked. hoping the current active JIRA will help.
