I've just created a new group for sending out SL news to anyone who's interested but the 'invite new members' function doesn't seem to be working. I can open the person chooser and find a person using Search. But it won't let me send them an invite. Anyone else having this issue and is there a workaround that doesn't require me having a calling card (I never keep them) or being right next to the person?

Sometimes it takes a few minutes for the thing to work when I open it up, if it doesn't work, give it 5 minutes or so and it should be OK.

I think it may be a problem with the group permeating through the grid. Although it's open to view and join apparently it's not showing under Group search yet *sighs*
By the way, if anyone wants to join, when it can be seen hehe, it's 'Min's SL News Feed' *plug plug*

You need to have at least one calling card in inventory for the 'Select' button to activate. It doesn't matter whose; ie, it doesn't need to belong to the person or people you're trying to invite. This bug has been around for a while and LL apparently has an internal fix for it, but it hasn't been rolled out yet.
